The 31st Meeting of the ASEAN Experts Group on Competition (AEGC) and related meetings were held in Cebu, Philippines with in-person and virtual systems on 9-13 October 2023. It was opened by Ms. LolibethRamit-Medrano, Chair of the AEGC and Commissioner of the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC), who delivered her opening remarks.
The meeting was held for the purpose of discussing among ASEAN member states regarding the current practices, completion conditions,the plans to be carried out and ways to solve the challenges and the difficulties faced with respect to competition policy and law.

(5) 5th Negotiation Round of the ASEAN Framework (13 October, 2023)
Representatives of ASEAN Experts Group on Competition of AMS, the ASEAN Secretariat, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, American, UK, Canada, GIZ and OECD attended the meetings.
