The Meeting of Myanmar Special Economic Zone Central Working Body 3/2023 was held at the conference room of the Ministry of Commerce, Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon of September 4, 2023. The Chairman of Myanmar Special Economic Zone Central Working Body, Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo, delivered an opening speech at the meeting.
At the meeting, the Chairman of the Myanmar Special Economic Zone Central Working Body discussed the Prime Minister’s guidelines in detail. He also discussed considering the Prime Minister’s guidelines as the policy in order to develop rapidly the Special Economic Zone, and the ongoing process of each Special Economic Zone.
Next, the Vice-Chairman and Members of the Myanmar Special Economic Zone Central Working Body, responsible officials from the respective Special Economic Zone Management Committees, and officials from different ministries made discussions and suggestions about the tasks of Special Economic Zones and the plans concerning the development of the work. Thereupon, the Chairman coordinated the needs of the discussions.
It was reported that the Vice-Chairman and Members of the Myanmar Special Economic Zone Central Working Body, responsible officials from the respective Special Economic Zone Management Committees, officials from the related ministries, and officials from various departments attended the meeting.
