“Participation in the “Digital Markets Workshop”

From 23 to 25 June 2026, a “Digital Markets Workshop” was held in Manila, Philippines. Representatives from Myanmar participated in the workshop, including Member of the Myanmar Competition Commission, Dr. Thida San, and two officers from the Commission Office. During the workshop, participants discussed the nature of digital markets, competition-related issues arising from technological development, market dominance conditions, and how such issues can be regulated through laws and policies, with comparisons drawn from international experiences.
