Myanmar Delegation Participated in the 12th ASEAN Network of IP Enforcement Experts (ANIEE) Committee Meeting and Workshop on Developments in Copyright Law and Enforcement

The 12th ASEAN Network of IP Enforcement Experts (ANIEE) Committee Meeting and ASEAN-USPTO Workshop on Developments in Copyright Law and Enforcement were held in Bangkok, Thailand on 12-15 September and participated by the representatives from Myanmar.

The meeting and workshop aimed to discuss on the developments on Copyright Laws in the region, requirements and legal effects on registration of Copyrights, policy issues raised by Artificial Intelligence Technology, best practices for Collective Management Organization, combating online Copyright infringement and ADR in Copyright disputes.

In the workshop, Dr. Nwe Yee Win, Director from the Intellectual Property Department presented the status on the developments in Copyright Law of Myanmar and other participants from the ASEAN Member States also discussed on their developments.
