Union Minister U Aung Naing Oo from the Ministry of Commerce attended and addressed at the closing ceremony of the BIMSTEC Business Conclave as the guest of honour. The event took place in Kolkata, Republic of India, from 12:30 to 2:00 pm local time.
During the valedictory session, Minister of State of India Dr. Rajukumar Ranjan Singh, Mr Tenzin Lekphell (Secretary-General of the BIMSTEC Countries), Mr. Mehul Mohanka (President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce) and U Moe Kyaw Aung (Myanmar Ambassador to India), along with diplomats from emerging countries, delivered speeches.
Additionally, the Union Minister participated in two forums, namely the “Textiles and Garments” forum and the “Financial Inclusion, Technology and Regulatory Frame work” forum, held at 10 am local time in India.
At the Textiles and Garments Forum, Daw Khine Khine Nwe, General Secretary of UMFCCI, joined as a panelist and at the Financial Inclusion Technology and Regulatory Framework Forum, Daw Chaw Khin Khin, General Secretary of the Myanmar Women’s Entrepreneurs Association, joined as a panelist.
