Commissioner of Myanmar Competition Commission, Dr.Thuta Aung shares expertise at International Conference on Intellectual Property, Naypyitaw

   Commissioner Dr.Thuta Aung presented his paper, “Beyond the Zero-Sum Mind-set: A Reflective Study on Synergising IP Rights and Competition Policy for Sustainable Development,” at the recent International Conference on Intellectual Property held in Naypyitaw from 3 to 4, 2025.

   In addition to his scholarly contribution, Dr.Thuta Aung served as Chair and Keynote Speaker for a panel on the nexus between competition policy and intellectual property. The session was well attended by policymakers, business leaders, and other stakeholders, highlighting the Myanmar Competition Commission’s commitment to fostering  dialogues that advance sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
